keating joins us from tampa, and the numbers. it was crazy yesterday, phil. >> absolutely, reportedly six hour waits at certain locations in miami-dade county outside of the precinct on friday, three and a half hours all day long to stand in line, shuffle forward and finally cost their ballot. the numbers are big despite the fact in 2008 there was early voting on this sunday before election day, this year, there is not. and that's been a point of convention, democrats and democrat leaning groups have called that voting suppression engineered by the republican dominated legislature and governor's office in the state of florida. however, despite those cries, the numbers have been as good as they were back in 2008. take a look at numbers right now. nearly 4 million, this is through friday, nearly 4 million floridians voted early, by early voting or absentee ballot. and the way it breaks down, the most early voters stand in line and cast their ballot, 45% of those people are registered democrats, 36 are registered republicans so clearly democrats have the edge there on early voting, but when

petraeus' biographer about the deadly attack on the u.s. consulate in benghazi, libya. let's take a listen. >> i don't know if a lot of you heard this, but the cia an annex had taken a couple prisoner and they think the attack on the consulate was an attempt to get the prisoners back. that's still being vetted. >> where did she hear that? did it come from david petraeus and do we know if her claim was true, the cia was holding captives inside a consular annex in benghazi? >> right, ted. this raises serious issues. she clearly said in the video the information she was sharing on libya and the cia holding prisoners there hadn't been vetted. so that means she is sharing something with -- that she heard with a public audience. that's concerning because they have to ask, what is your source? is the source of all of her information david petraeus? given her extraordinary access to the former director of the cia, it would have been a reasonable assumption. but, again, her access to him was not in any way in an official capacity. though she did tell me she was working with the general on writing a

regarding the fiscal cliff and his obama line. tell us what it is. >> that's right, suzanne. he has laid out that his negotiating terms include the following. he is willing to compromise and raise some revenue by altering some parts of medicare and medicaid on entitlement reforms. he is also insistent that some revenue be raised by changing the tax rates. you know, those bush tax cuts expire at the end of this year, and he has said that the wealthiest americans must pay more. we've heard it on the campaign trail over and over. one thing he has hit is that those who make $250,000 and more must pay more. maybe he'll move that number. who knows. he did say quite clearly the white house has that they would veto any bill that does not include a tax increase for the wealthiest americans, suzanne. >> jessica, we heard boehner, john boehner, actually within the last 30 minutes or so talking about that there are ways to raise revenue and spending cuts as well in a all options are on the table. do you think the white house sees that as some sort of opening, if you will, to negotiations? >> i think bot

petraeus used agency resources to further his relationship with paula broadwell. they were last seen together at a dinner in washington on october 27th. officials say the cia has been told by the fbi there is no indication that petraeus used classified material. but the investigation is continuing, this is new information coming out about frederick humphries, the fbi agent that led the investigation. he is a 16-year veteran, humphries got to know jill kelley in tampa, and she turned to him when she received anonymous e-mails last spring, the e-mails they found alarming. today, there was a picture he sent, telling the seattle times it was a joke. he was posing with target dummies after s.w.a.t. practice. it was humphries that told david reichert about an old friend, he letter alerted him almost two weeks before the president was told. >> the information sent to me sounded as if there was a potential for a national security vulnerability. >> reporter: today, eric holder was asked why he didn't tell the president sooner. >> we follow the facts, we do not share outside the justice depart

between democrats and republicans and so i think all of us have responsibilities to see if there are things we can improve on. and i don't exempt myself from needing to, you know, do some self-reflection and see if i can improve our working relationship. they're probably going to still be some sharp differences. and as i said during the campaign, there are going to be times where there are fights and i think those are fights that need to be had. but what i think the american people don't want to see is a focus on the next election instead of a focus on them. and i don't have another election. and, you know, michelle and i were talking last night about, you know, what an incredible honor and privilege it is to be put in this position. and there are people all across this country, millions of folks, who worked so hard to help us get elected, but there are also millions of people who didn't vote for us but are counting on seriously. i take that responsibility very seriously and i hope and intend to be an even better president in the second term than i was in the first. jona
